Marc Fortune

Corporate Director & Advisor

Currently a corporate director /advisor on several private company boards, Fortune was the Board Chairman and CEO of Century II before its sale to FFI, then an Indiana public company.

Century II, one of the nation’s largest outsourced HR companies, was consistently recognized in the community and in the trade as an industry leader.

Prior to Century II, Fortune founded CSM, an outsourced sales management company after 11 years in corporate America, including 5 in sales and marketing roles with Aladdin Industries and 6 with Rodgers Construction, the firm that built most of HCA’s hospitals in the 70’s and 80’s where he served as VP of Business Development.

He has served and chaired numerous charity boards as well as a 10-year stint as a director of the Nashville Capital Network and several on the Nashville Chamber of Commerce Board. He was named Entrepreneur of the Year by the Nashville Business Journal in 2005. Fortune is founder of the Nashville Sailing Foundation and past Commodore of both the Percy Priest and Harbor Island Yacht Clubs.

Fortune has an undergraduate business degree from Marquette University and received his MBA from Vanderbilt, where he also served as Board President of the Owen Alumni Association.

Marc has three grown children, three young grandchildren, two accommodating sons-in-law, a happy wife, a delighted dog and is an avid sailor.
